Watermelon Mojito Recipe with Berry Skewers

Watermelon Mojito is an instant remedy for sunstroke. Foodogma recommends to drink watermelon juice without any additives. One can add few drops of lemon juice, spices like black pepper and black salt, herbs such as mint, sabja sees or pre-soaked chia seeds and fresh blueberries skewers or raspberries skewers. The heat is rising steadily, biting into a slice of the fruit is akin to dunking ourselves with water and the first one that pops into our minds is watermelon! It’s high in vitamin A, vitamin C and potassium. It’s about 92% water, so it’s plenty hydrating, too (nutrition source).

Watermelon Recipes


  • 1 small sweet watermelon (a 6 pounder will do)

  • 1 small lime, juiced (optional)

  • 8 blue berries

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Club soda


  1. Cut half of the watermelon.

  2. Scoop chunks of delicious watermelon into the blender using a large spoon.

  3. Throw the rind away.

  4. Blend the watermelon until it is pulverized perfectly. That's not supposed to take more than a minute.

  5. Squeeze the juice of one small lime into the blender and fresh mint leaves for added flavor and blend for a few seconds.

  6. Pour the mixture into a pitcher through a fine mesh strainer if your watermelon is notably pulpy or seeded. If not, you can directly pour it into ice-filled glasses.

  7. Add fizzy club soda

  8. Take a wooden skewer and put some blueberries in it.

  9. Serve chilled.
