Berries Smoothie


Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

  • 2 tsp. chopped and peeled fresh ginger

  • 1/4 cup plain low-fat (1%) yogurt

  • 2 cube ice

Directions

  • In blender, combine strawberries, blueberries, orange juice, ginger, yogurt, and ice cubes.

  • Blend until smooth, scraping down side of container occasionally.

​This smoothie would be great with a variety of other fruit. Try substituting the same quantity of fresh or frozen blackberries, raspberries, or even chopped mango.
